Most who use Quick Bid, especially those who have worked with Quick Bid for many years, believe they are better off using their current database than any other.  I understand why they think this is true; however, it is most likely false.

 Currently in my 25th year of freelance estimating, I have worked on more than my share of difficult bids.  I efficiently produce very accurate estimates for various wall and ceiling contractors, located in many different regions of our great country, from coast to coast.  I use OST, Quick Bid, and only one database, the same dynamic databases I peddle on my website.  Check out my Quick Bid databases at the following link:

The secret to my success is simple: I can accurately price any condition (drapery pocket, light cove, whatever the architect dreams up) very quickly, probably in a fraction of the time that it would take you, even if you use Quick Bid too.  Furthermore, there are no surprises on the reports that I generate; all my ducks are automatically in a row.
