67 classroom teachers invited Mister Bugs for in-school field trips in Spring Quarter 2011. Mister Bugs visited the following School Districts: Lemont (SD 113A), Wheaton (SD 200), Plainfield (SD 202), Naperville (SD 203), Oswego (SD 308), and Bolingbrook (SD 365U). Mister Bugs was well received by students and teachers alike, and thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone.

In-school field trips with Mister Bugs save time by eliminating travel associated with traditional field trips. Mister Bugs adjusts each presentation to meet the learning-level of the individual class (K-5).

Each Classroom comprises a unique collection of students; therefore, Mister Bugs selects the right mix of demonstrations and hands-on activities for each class, and explains how students can explore for close encounters with bugs.

Students learn how to go bug hunting right in their own neighborhood. Mister Bugs also tells a few favorite True Bug Stories from his own early childhood explorations; topics are selected from the following and include many more:
